iCarnival

Slublog is collecting links for the Carnival of the Playlists again.

I have the oddest mix of music on my iPod. Does this mean I am well rounded?

Probably not…

In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins. Classic song. What else is there to say? Remember when Phil was cool and made great music? This is it.

Switch by Will Smith. Big Willie Style!!! A catchy little tune. I always love Smith’s stuff. Movies, music, whatever.

You and Me by Lifehouse. A great acoustic guitar song. Either Lifehouse’s stuff is awesome or awful. This one falls under awesome.

Confusion by New Order. This song is playing during the bloodbath (literally) in the Blade movie. One of the coolest techno songs I’ve heard. Love it.

Lost in a Portrait by Trapt. This one is from the Punisher soundtrack. A hard driving rock tune with great melodies.

Broken by Seether featuring Amy Lee. Another song from the Punisher soundtrack. Amy Lee has an incredible voice and this is a great song for it. Moving vocals. Great acoustic guitar part.

So there you have it. Astor Piazzola should make the next one. Oblivion is a great song. Who knew you could do so much with an accordian…
