Bangor council to revisit strip club issue - A controversial decision made by the city council will most likely be overturned tonight. Two councilors that voted in favor of the amendment on Monday, in light of public opposition, have reconsidered their vote. A special meeting has been called tonight at Bangor City Hall at 6:00. If you are a Bangor resident and wish to see the decision overturned please come to the meeting and show your support. If these two councilors have truly reconsidered their positions the proposed amendment that would allow the Platinum Plus strip club to operate in Bangor will be defeated and would keep this establishment and ones like it out of our city.
